About BitStream

Software built from practice

BitStream grew out of many years of large-enterprise consulting for public authorities, critical-infrastructure operators, and large corporations.

Recurring tasks from this consulting practice were transformed into software step by step - first cloud-based automation, later the automated security report from which our core product SecCheck emerged.

Our products are therefore not designed on a drawing board; they encapsulate experience from real projects.

On the way to a hybrid company

BitStream uses artificial intelligence productively within its own organization - from AI-supported analysis in SecCheck and AI assistants in internal workflows to our internally used AI-supported CRM.

Our target picture is a hybrid company in which people and AI assistants work together: AI takes on recurring work, while people make the decisions and carry the responsibility.

We use AI only where it is genuinely useful and privacy-compliant - EU-hosted and GDPR-compliant. At BitStream, automation never shifts responsibility.

And: no AI at any price. Annoying hold loops and chatbot rounds with no real person to talk to are not our thing - when it matters, you reach people at BitStream.
